ACE of SPADES HISTORY

1979

At the end of the seventies, at the age of 16, after the complete customisation of the 125 cc Fantic Motor Chopper and the realisation of some kustom work and painting for some friends, in a corner of the small workshop, where i was working from the age of 14, the Jonathan's Pupils store was born.

 

 

1980

1981/82

 To go against all the "conventional mechanics” usual answer "it's not possible" at the request of some special job; i started to build seats, lace wheels, varnish metal flake, paint and all kind of needed jobs. Because it was, also, not so easy to find special parts and accessories and the way from the States was long, i went able to build myself all the components needed to customize bikes

. 

1981/82

In  Italy   the biker scene was at his beginning and it was not easy to find who would modify a Harley Davidson, so i have worked on any Italian and other Brand of motorcycles.

  

 

1983

1983

Finally the legal age to ride a Harley without risk of Jail comes and in september  '84 i buy a '73 Super Glide that i own still today modified in a long chopper.

 

1984

In the 1984 i did leave also the old workshop to open my own workshop, the  CHOPPER’S HOLE, the first real "chop shop" in  Italy   .

At the same time the customers were asking for jackets, vests, chaps, leather trousers, chain wallets etc. so, being able to sew leather for the seats, i did start to make also leather clothes.

After a couple years, we’ve open a Western & Biker clothing shop in downtown  Verona   , the Urban Cowboy.  

 

In the 1989, for the first time, we went to the States to participate at the Daytona bike week, unfortunately without motorcycles, for our money possibility, we could go without the bikes or ship the bikes and stay at home. We choose the first one.

 

After the Daytona trip (it was already a couple year we was around the Europe to make apprentice) we started with the Urban Cowboy Tattoo studio the other of our big passions. For some year i did build bikes just for friends and our own bikes.

After the revealing trip, we’ve been many times to the States, for example the 50°  Black Hills  rally in 1990 where I met some of the “gods” of custom. Thru the years i’ve also done some work in  L.A.  by the  HOG   HOSPITAL   at  5050 Venice Boulevard   .

For some year we alternate to built bikes and leather wear and do tattoos.

1998

In 1999 Federica ( born she also in ’79, yes we was very young), our older daughter, at the end of the high school, started to work in tattoos and motorcycles too.

Still today customize bikes, cars and skin is our Family Affair, waiting for Electra my granddaughter and Flame the younger, growing up.

the Family increases with the born of Eric, the new grandson.
